A typically programme of events we run at different times of the year includes:
- Sundays in term
- Morning service at Wesley Church,
some members of Methsoc attend other churches or chapels. - Main meeting after the service,
usually involving an outside speaker and chance for discussion followed by lunch prepared by Methsoc - Evening coffee, in someone's room,
a chance to meet socially. - During the week in term,
- three weekly small group Bible studies (currently Monday, Tuesday, Thursday nights),
with Bible study notes provided by a past President. - Prayer breakfast (Friday morning),
a chance to meet and pray before lectures. - Once a term,
- Communion breakfast,
sharing communion followed by breakfast before lectures. - Retreat (Michaelmas and Lent terms),
a chance to have a restful weekend away from Cambridge at the end of term. - Once a year:
- The Mission,
a week-long opportunity for outreach and work in the community. In a different place in the UK each year, usually in the summer.
