E-mail lists

Cambridge Methsoc has two e-mail lists, which serve as an important means of communication within the society.
The address of the main list is soc-methsoc@lists.cam.ac.uk.

Messages sent to this address will be received by all members of the society. This list is intended for general communication between society members.

You can join (or ask to be removed from) the list by sending an e-mail to soc-methsoc-request@lists.cam.ac.uk.
Members of that list are likely to receive e-mails quite frequently.

The other list is soc-methsoc-announce@lists.cam.ac.uk.
This list is open, like the main list, to all members, and to anyone interested in the society, but is meant exclusively for announcements of events, etc. It should therefore carry a rather smaller volume of mail.

You can join (or ask to be removed from) this list by sending an e-mail to soc-methsoc-announce-request@lists.cam.ac.uk.

Alternatively, if you would like to receive normally just one e-mail each week, detailing the activities of the society for that week, you can join the "What's On" list by sending an e-mail to the Computer Rep. Members of the announcements list will automatically receive the "What's On" email.
